What is DTF printing and why is it better?

DTF (Direct to Film) is the most advanced apparel printing method available. We print your design onto a special film with our industrial Prestige XL3 printer, apply adhesive powder, and cure it. The result is an ultra-soft, stretchable, vibrant transfer that applies to **any fabric color** with outstanding wash durability that lasts 50+ washes.

What’s the difference between DTF and DTG?

DTG prints ink directly onto the shirt and usually needs a thick white underbase on dark colors, which can feel stiff and fade faster. Our DTF process prints on film first, works on any shirt color without pre-treatment, and gives a softer hand feel with far better longevity and color retention after repeated washing.

Why does 9ColorPrints use the Prestige XL3 9-color printer?

Most shops use basic 4-color or 6-color machines. Our **Prestige XL3** has a true 9-color ink system (CMYK + Red + Green + Blue + Orange + White) plus 3× Epson i3200 industrial heads and 24″ print width.
This gives you:
• Dramatically richer reds and oranges
• Vibrant, true-to-life greens and blues
• Crisp, opaque whites on dark shirts
• Superior color accuracy and smooth gradients
Your designs look more professional and eye-catching — exactly why customers choose 9ColorPrints.

How long does production take?

Most orders ship in **1–3 business days**. Production runs Sunday–Friday 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, so same-day and next-day turnaround is often possible. Rush options available — just call.

What is a gang sheet and how does the 9-color process help?

A gang sheet lets you place multiple designs (or the same design in different sizes) on one 24″ wide sheet to save money. Because we print with full 9-color DTF at high speed, every design on the sheet gets the same premium color vibrancy and quality — no compromises.

Do you offer free shipping and are there minimums?

Yes! Free shipping on every order over $99 within the continental U.S. No minimum order quantity — order 1 sheet or 500 custom shirts.

What is your return and quality guarantee?

All items are custom-printed, so we cannot accept returns for change of mind. However, if there is any printing defect on our end, we will reprint and ship a replacement at no charge. Contact us within 7 days of delivery.

How do I care for my 9-color DTF prints?

To keep colors vibrant for 50+ washes: turn garments inside out, wash cold on gentle cycle, tumble dry low or hang dry. Never use bleach or fabric softener, and avoid direct ironing on the print.
